Collaboration Of Dhuafa Wallet And PARFI 56 Produces Humanitarian Movement For Artists And Artists
JAKARTA Wallet Dhuafa with the Association of Indonesian Film Artists (PARFI) 56 held a "Humanitarian Collaboration for Artists and Artists" event at the Dhuafa Wallet Cultural Sasana Hall, South Jakarta, Tuesday, March 11. This event is an important momentum in strengthening cooperation between two institutions in the field of humanity and empowerment through a cultural approach.
The event was attended by important figures, including Parni Hadi as the Initiator, Founder, and Chair of Dompet Dhuafa Trustees; Ahmad Juwaini as Chair of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation Management; Yudi Latif as the Board of Trustees of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation Republika; Marcella Zalianty as the General Chair of the PARFI 56; and Dr. Dede Yusuf Macan Effendi as the Advisory Board of the PARFI 56. In addition, several members of the PARFI were also present at the event.
In the welcoming session, Yudi Latif said that the collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and PARFI was a very precise collaboration. If these two institutions' souls are united, it will be an extraordinary strength. This is because the spirit of Dompet Dhuafa is empowered, while the soul of the PARFI is cultured. So together, this collaboration will become a collaboration that empowers the poor through a cultural approach so that it is able to light the candles of hope for Indonesia.
"This is a kind of signal from the universe that future Dompet Dhuafa empowerment movements will be further strengthened by cultural approaches. And a cultural approach to humanity will be more touched by aesthetic power, with creative power, with more inspiring power, increasing human dignity," he explained.
Adding that to Yudi, in the discussion direction session, Parni Hadi emphasized that the synergy between Dompet Dhuafa and PARFI would accelerate and expand the impact of the program to empower the poor in Indonesia. Dhuafa's wallet, known for its five pillars of programs, namely education, economy, health, social/humanity, as well as da'wah and culture, will further strengthen cultural pillars through this collaboration.
"This collaboration is a momentum to share views, share light. We must continue to collaborate for a luminous Indonesia," he said.
Meanwhile, Marcella Zalianty highlighted the role of culture in in introducing and promoting Indonesia's cultural wealth to the world. He emphasized that culture and humanity are important elements in strengthening the identity of the Indonesian nation.
Dr. Dede Yusuf Macan Effendi, in his presentation session, added that arts and culture have a strategic role in conveying humanitarian messages. According to him, through films, theaters, and various other forms of art, it is easier for the public to understand the values of social concern and solidarity. Therefore, the involvement of artists in humanitarian actions is very important.
"We actors, artists, actually want to be called and called. So we want everyone to be able to collaborate in a way. What ways? How are we beneficial for humanity. We welcome the welcome of the big plan going forward. Of course, there is a lot that can be done together and I am sure that artists when invited to humanitarian things, many of them will definitely be present. There are many things they can do (for) humanitarian things," he said.

As part of the event, Dompet Dhuafa and PARFI provide compensation to orphans and awards to family fighters. This provision of compensation is expected to ease their burden and provide motivation in living life.
In addition, PARFI also provided five food packages and five packages of compensation for orphans as a form of concern for people in need. In addition, several PARFI members also took the initiative to entrust additional compensation distributed through Dompet Dhuafa.

As a form of seriousness in this collaboration, Dompet Dhuafa and PARFI held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to design a concrete collaboration program. In this discussion, various possibilities for wider cooperation were discussed, including arts and cultural education programs for marginal communities, fundraising through art performances, as well as the production of humanitarian-themed films.
From the results of the meeting, the two institutions agreed to immediately take concrete actions to have a wider impact on the community. In the near future, Dompet Dhuafa and PARFI will initiate art and cultural-based programs aimed at empowering disadvantaged communities, especially communities that have a concern for art and culture. Artists are also ready to become mentors in various empowerment fields.
Not only that, humanitarian actions against communities affected by natural disasters are also a long discussion in this discussion. Dompet Dhuafa and PARFI plan to use the Dompet Dhuafa Public Kitchen at the disaster site as a center to provide assistance and distribute aid, recovery centers for disaster victims, and community empowerment centers after the disaster recovery.
