There Is Budget Efficiency, Realization Of State Expenditures Drops 6.9 Percent As Of February 2025

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati conveyed that the realization of state spending reached IDR 348.1 trillion as of February 2025, down 6.9 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) when compared to the realization of state spending in February 2024 of IDR 374.3 trillion.

Sri Mulyani conveyed that this realization was equivalent to 9.6 percent of the state expenditure target in the 2025 State Budget of IDR 3,621.3 trillion.

"The realization of state spending until the end of February with various things that will be conveyed by Mr. Deputy Minister Suahasil occurs, inpres, efficiency and others, we still see state spending of Rp. 348.1 trillion, the realization where this is 9.6 percent of the total expenditure budgeted for this year," he said at the KiTa State Budget Press Conference, Thursday, March 13.

Meanwhile, Sri Mulyani conveyed that the realization of central government spending as of February 2025 was IDR 211.5 trillion, down 11.77 percent when compared to the same period last year of IDR 239.64 trillion.

The realization of central government spending as of February 2025 is equivalent to 7.8 percent of the 2025 APBN target of IDR 2,701.4 trillion.

Sri Mulyani explained that the realization of central government spending as of February 2025 consisted of K/L expenditures worth IDR 83.6 trillion, down 49.4 percent when compared to the realization of K/L spending in the same period last year of IDR 165.4 trillion.

The realization of K/L expenditure as of February 2025 is equivalent to 7.2 percent of the 2025 APBN target of IDR 1,160.1 trillion.

Meanwhile, the realization of non-K/L spending as of February 2025 was IDR 127.9 trillion, down 21.7 percent when compared to the same period last year of IDR 163.4 trillion.

The realization of non-K/L expenditure as of February 2025 is equivalent to 8.3 percent of the 2025 APBN target of IDR 1,541.4 trillion.

In addition, Sri Mulyani also highlighted that Transfer expenditures to Regions as of February 2025 reached IDR 136.6 trillion, an increase of 1.4 percent when compared to the realization of transfers to regions in the same period last year of IDR 134.68 trillion.

The realization of Transfer expenditure to the Regions as of February 2025 is equivalent to 14.9 percent of the 2025 State Budget target of IDR 919.9 trillion.
