Up 15 Percent, TINS Targets Up To 23,000 Tons Of Tin Production

PT Timah Tbk (TINS) targets an increase in lead production by 21,500 to 23,000 tons of tin throughout 2025. Corporate Secretary of PT Timah Tbk Rendi Kurniawan said this figure had increased by 15 percent compared to the previous year which was targeted at 20,000 tons.
"In 2025 the target is at 21,500 for our production target. 21,000-23,000. In 2024 we are at 19,000," he said during the Joint Iftar of the MIND ID Group, quoted Thursday, March 12.
Rendi said that the tin production came from mines in the Bangka, Belitung and Riau Islands both on land and sea. Just so you know, PT Timah's land mining was carried out on the islands of Bangka and Belitung Island, while sea mining was carried out in the waters of Bangka Island, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, and the waters of the Mundur Islands Province of the Riau Islands.

He further revealed that this year PT Timah will continue to focus on improving mining governance. Meanwhile, in terms of operations, Rendi continued, PT Timah will also open a new mining area which is a personal asset of the company and rejuvenate mining equipment.
"(New area) Still in Bangka, Belitung and Riau Islands," he added.
On the other hand, from the company's financial performance, Rendi said that he was optimistic that PT Timah could record positive finances compared to the previous year's loss.
"The estimate is IDR 1 trillion to IDR 1.1 trillion. But it has not been audited," he said.
