Deputy Minister: Export Of Eggs To The US, After Domestic Needs Are Fulfilled

JAKARTA - Indonesia plans to export 1.6 million chicken eggs to the United States every month. Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono when met at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 12, said the export of chicken eggs could be done after domestic needs were met.

Indonesia is recorded to have a surplus in chicken egg production during 2025. In the first semester of 2025, Indonesia produced 3.47 tons of broiler eggs. Meanwhile, the need for chicken eggs in the United States has increased due to production declines.
