Dukun Padepokan Narakumbara_21 Cakung Claims To Use Methamphetamine To Be Confident In Front Of Patients

JAKARTA - The Gambir Metro Police revealed a drug use case committed by a shaman named Rafi alias RR (24) at the Narakumbara_21 Padepokan. Based on the results of the examination, the suspect Rafi has been consuming crystal methamphetamine for the last three years.

Gambir Metro Police Chief, Kompol Rezeki R. Respati, revealed that Rafi was camouflaged by carrying out padepokan activities while using drugs.

"The suspect has been consuming drugs for three years and is camouflaged at the pavilion. For three years, they have the same mode (drug consumption)," Rezeki told reporters, Wednesday, March 12.

According to Rafi's confession, he consumed methamphetamine to increase self-confidence in convincing his patients.

"So to increase self-confidence when explaining to the patient or convincing the patient. So there is a kind of possible hallucinations, using these narcotics items. Thank God we managed to reveal it," he explained.

Currently, the police are still developing the case to further reveal Rafi's role in the narcotics network.

"We have not seen (the suspect is involved as a drug dealer), it has not yet arrived there. It is only for personal consumption," continued Rezeki.

Arrests At Padepokan Narakumbara_21

The raid was carried out at the Narakumbara_21 Padepokan located on Jalan Kampung Rawa Badung, RT 08/07, Jatinegara Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta. The police found evidence in the form of methamphetamine.

In addition to arresting Rafi, the police also arrested Taufik Hidayat alias TH (21) who was known to be the subordinate of the suspect Rafi. Meanwhile, the police are still hunting for a supplier of methamphetamine known as "Bang Rembo".

This case continues to be investigated to uncover a drug trafficking network involving Rafi and the fake pawnshop he manages.
