Global Debut, This Is Toyota C-HR+ Electric Car With A Tempuh Distance Of 600 Km

Toyota seems very serious and doesn't want to miss carriages in expanding its electric car market, the latest and becoming its global debut, the all-electric Toyota C-HR + targeting the SUV market in Europe.

Inspired by the huge success C-HR SUV in Europe, the car features a slim and eye-catching firm line, comes with a really fun character, and offers practicality of comfort that is a priority.

"This car has been developed from the concept of a Compact SUV introduced by Toyota in 2022 as well as carrying important qualities that have made Toyota C-HR a huge success, with sales of more than one million units in Europe in two generations," the company said in a statement, quoted from its official website, Wednesday, March 12.

Scheduled to launch on certain European markets by the end of 2025, with full launches to all European markets starting in 2026, the car will join the new Urban Cruiser and new bZ4X to provide Toyota with a lineup of attractive products across segments B, C, and D-SUV BEV.

Its introduction will further strengthen Toyota's multi-path strategy, which combines hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles, to produce a sustainable reduction in vehicle emissions to achieve carbon neutrality in Europe by 2035.

So what are the specifications?

Design

Despite being inspired by Toyota C-HR, the model that continues to achieve extraordinary success in attracting new customers to that brand, Toyota C-HR+ is clearly a unique model. The car is built based on the philosophy of Toyota's e-TNGA battery-powered electric vehicle and has a unique body as well as interior. The car presents a clean and excited look that basically looks simple, but has a strong emotional quality to captivate the heart and mind. The design of the forward bumper,ural, and headlights is all exclusive to this model, while the streamy silhouette coupe-crossover looks distinctive and aerodynamic. Prominent COPe roof lines are created without reducing the head space for rear seat passengers.

The appearance is also as distinctive as on the back, with the wide lamp position and the all-LED combination making it look sporty. The steep rear window angle and neatly integrated spoiler further emphasize the dynamic look. With an overall length of 4,520 mm, the wheel axis distance extends up to 2,750 mm, this helps secure a wide accommodation with a wide headspace and a distance between the front seat and the 900 mm back.

Features

The features embedded in this model are presented to make the vehicle a common space, not just about the driver. Therefore, the supply, for example, two wireless smartphone chargers and a rear cabin USB port to ensure everyone in the car can connect while traveling, rear cabin air conditioner control and panorama roof that brings natural light to all parts of the interior.

Power and Performance

Toyota C-HR+ offers two different battery options. The 57.7 kWh unit (dirty capacity) will be exclusive to the model of front wheels driving and a 77 kWh battery with a higher capacity will be available for the front wheel driving powertrain and all wheels. The maximum range according to the WLTP driving cycle is up to 600 km. The AWD version is expected to generate 343 hp power which allows the car to go from 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. The front wheel drive model with a 57.7 kWh battery will generate 167 hp power by selecting a 77 kWh battery, the power will increase to 224 hp.

The driving option of all wheels confirms the status of Toyota C-HR+ as the original SUV. This system increases grip and traction and helps take advantage of the torque and extra power that characterizes the BEV. This contributes to the safety and greater driving pleasure. 11 kW internal chargers are provided as a standard, with 22 kW units provided from High grade. Fast DC charging can reach speeds of up to 150 kW.
