No Mercy, KPK Council Will Take Action On Leaders And Employees Who Violate Ethics

"We will follow up on the slightest violation. The violations were committed by KPK personnel, or if they were committed by the KPK leadership," said KPK Chairman Gusrizal at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, quoted on Wednesday, March 12.

Gusrizal said that the KPK leadership is usually the most reported to the supervisory board. Thus, his party seeks to suppress violations.

One way is by synergizing and coordinating. "We ourselves already know about the occurrence of an unharmonic relationship between the Supervisory Board and the KPK leadership," he said.

"Therefore, we are open to each other, synergize with each other, synergize with each other, coordinate with each other between the Supervisory Board and the KPK leadership," continued Gusrizal.

In this coordination and synergy effort, Gusrizal said, the Supervisory Board and the KPK leadership usually meet in a forum every three months. A number of problems were then discussed for a solution.

"So that in the future there will be no more ethical violations or disciplinary violations or even a criminal process," he said.

Meanwhile, KPK Supervisory Board member Benny J. Mamoto said they had held meetings with the head of the anti-corruption commission twice since being inaugurated and handed over positions since December 2024. He leaked that there were dozens of points of problems that had been prepared and had to find a way out.

"That is what we have anticipated and it is hoped that later in carrying out future tasks there will be no more misunderstandings until finally reporting to other law enforcement officers and so on," concluded Benny.
