Bogor City Government Will Exempt Land For Alternative Roads In Batutulis

BOGOR - Bogor City Government (Pemkot) held a working group meeting for the Hydrometeorological Disaster Management at Paseban Narayana, City Hall, Jalan Ir. Juanda, Bogor City, Monday 10 March.

In this meeting, the Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, together with the relevant OPD heads discussed and looked for alternative lanes considering that the landslide on Jalan Saleh Danasasmita, Batutulis Village, South Bogor District, could not be rehabilitated.

"On the landslide road, below it there are springs and waterways. So even if it is repaired later, it is possible that something similar could happen again in the following years," said Dedie A. Rachim.

He added that his party has now obtained two alternative paths. The first alternative is through the area around Sumur Tujuh, and the second alternative passes through the black zone. Of these two options, the best solution is being sought.

In addition, other things that are also discussed are related to financing. The financing includes land acquisition, the creation of Detail Engineering Design (DED), and road construction.

If you look at the disaster status, road construction may ask for help from the central government, including in the context of continuing the maintenance of the Batutuli underpass.

"The land acquisition will be carried out by the Bogor City Government using Unexpected Expenditure Funds (BTT) and must be realized this year, because the people affected can currently only use two-wheeled vehicles," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bogor City Transportation Service (Dishub), Marse Hendra Saputra, said that the impact of landslides on Saleh Danasasmita Street caused the diversion of traffic flow from South Bogor to Bogor City via the alternative route Cipinang Gading, BNR, and Pabuaran to Aston BNR.

However, this alternative route also has limitations because there are eight to ten narrowing points that need to be fixed.

"Currently, alternative access is also opened through Dekeng Pakuan Hills to Jalan Tajur, but two-wheeled vehicles can only be passed with a time limitation, namely from 05.00'09.00 and 16.00' 21.00 WIB," he said.
