Jakut Police Find Minyakita Packaging Company With Unpackaged Volume
JAKARTA - The North Jakarta Metro Police (Polres) found a company suspected of packing cooking oil from the Minyita brand with a volume that did not match the information in the packaging. This discovery took place at Waru Lagoa Market, Koja District, North Jakarta.
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Ahmad Fuady, explained that his party had tested samples of cooking oil from three companies. From the results of the test, it was found that two companies had less volume than the size listed on the packaging, which was one liter.
"We tested samples of cooking oil from three companies and we found two that were less than the size in the packaging, namely one liter," said Kombes Pol Ahmad Fuady in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 11.
He detailed the results of the sample test as follows:
The first company: Currently being handled by Bareskrim Polri because the volume is proven to be less than one liter. The second company: Originally from North Jakarta and the test results showed volume in accordance with the packaging, which is one liter.

The third company: Originally from the Tanjung Priok area. After being tested, it was found that the volume of cooking oil only ranged from 800 milliliters to 900 milliliters, lower than what should have been one liter. "We will investigate this company, whether it deliberately packs less than one liter," explained Kombes Pol Ahmad Fuady.
Furthermore, the Police Chief said that the progress of the investigation results would be submitted to the public. However, the name of the company concerned is still kept secret.
Previously, the North Jakarta Metro Police Chief held a price check, availability, and distribution of essential staples in Waru Market, Lagoa Village, Koja District, North Jakarta. The checks include the volume of cooking oil for the Oilita brand, as well as other staples such as kitchen spices, chicken cut, rice, and eggs.
