Police Secure BMW Driver High School Students Who Hit Motorcyclists Until They Were Dragged 10 Meters In Tangerang
TANGERANG - A high school student with the initials KVP (16) who hit a motorcyclist with a BMW car he was driving on Buaran Indah Street, Tangerang City, on Monday, March 10, at around 20.00 WIB, has been arrested by the police.
Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho, said that his party would summon the perpetrator's parents to find out the reason why the student was given permission to drive the car. In addition, they want to reveal the exact cause of the accident.
"Later, we will summon the parents of the students. For more complete information, it can be coordinated with the Head of Gakkum or Head of Traffic Unit," said Zain on Tuesday, March 11.
According to an explanation from the Head of Laka Polres Metro Tangerang Kota, AKP Badruzzaman, the incident began when KVP was driving a BMW car with two friends, GB and BM, who were also his school friends. They drove from Jalan Benteng Betawi and passed Jalan Arteri Pinggir Tol JKC.
Arriving in front of Buaran Indah stall, Tangerang City, the BMW car hit a motorcyclist with the initials AM (37) with a luxury BMW car numbered B-889-KEN which was driving in front of him. As a result of the collision, the victim fell and was dragged several meters forward.

The victim suffered serious injuries all over his body and bleeding a lot. Currently, AM has been taken to the Tangerang District Hospital for treatment.
"The victim suffered injuries to the head, broke his left leg, and abrasions to his left hand and leg," added Badruzzaman.
Until now, the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by the police.
