Just Launched Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Accident When Digeber On Circuit, What's Wrong?

JAKARTA - Xiaomi's wild electric car, SU7 Ultra, recently officially launched, and after several days of being sent to the car's users, it had an accident on a racing track in China.

Quoting from the old Carnewschina, Tuesday, March 11, the Chinese brand advised owners to take part in official driving training before traveling on the race track using the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.

The video of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra crash was uploaded on China Weibo's social media page, and this is the first SU7 Ultra track accident as the model began to be delivered earlier on March 2.

In the video, SU7 Ultra comes out of the corner and speeds up on the straight track. However, the driver was late in braking. As a result, the vehicle hit a wall made of tires.

The speed of the car reaches more than 120 km/hour. As a result, the engine hood, front bumper, sepatbor, and front light SU7 Ultra were damaged. The front air bag of the car expands, ensuring driver safety.

Previously, the usual Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan (not Ultra) also made headlines several times related to accidents on racing tracks in China. Xiaomi SU7 is rumored to have a weak point, namely brakes. There were several accidents, when the SU7 brakes caught fire on the track, which resulted in a collision.

However, answering this, Xiaomi officials replied that the regular variant of Xiaomi SU7 was made for public roads. So, this car cannot be used for racing tracks.

But for the SU7 Ultra model, it is confirmed that the vehicle is suitable for driving on racing tracks. However, Xiaomi Auto founder and CEO Lei Jun said drivers need to pay attention to safety. It is highly recommended to take part in formal pre-race training. Xiaomi officials advise any SU7 Ultra owner to take part in the Xiaomi Auto Elite Driving Training to better understand the vehicle.

In specifications, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra comes with three electric motors as standard. There is one single electric motor with 386 cellphones on the front as wheel, and two 570 electric motors on the rear as wheel. The combined output of this system reaches 1,526 hp and the peak torque is 1,770 Nm. The rear engine of SU7 Ultra can reach 27,200 rpm. As a result, this sedan advances up to 100 km/hour in 1.98 seconds and the highest speed is more than 359 km/hour.
