Twisted Mode! Bulk Oil In Bogor Is Repackaged Into Fake Oil

Bogor Police visited the factory location as well as a warehouse for processing counterfeit Oilita with a dose of 800 milliliters (ml) in Cijujung Village, Bogor Regency, Monday, March 10.

The Bogor Police Chief saw with the Bogor Regent Rudi Sumanto directly seeing the process and circulation of this fake Oilita. The perpetrators of TRM immediately demonstrated how to make the packaged oil using two packaging machines.

"This is an extraordinary crime. According to the suspect's statement, he only operated in February but we will not see from his confession alone. We will open everything from anywhere and sell it anywhere," said Rio.

As previously reported, the Bogor Police Satreskrim officers raided this fake Oilita factory, on Monday afternoon. The modus operandi is that the perpetrator buys bulk oil and packs it into counterfeit oil with a dose of about 800 ml per packaging.

This dose is reduced by 200 ml because it should contain 1 liter. To smooth out the action, the perpetrator made his own Oilita packaging, but did not include the clean content.

The police chief emphasized that the perpetrator's actions disrupted economic stability and caused a commotion to users in the Jabotabek area.

"As we all know, now the matter of cooking oil is busy. Please monitor this case and give us input," he continued.

Previously, the raid on the fake Oilita packaging factory shocked residents around the location. The head of RT 04 Karimun revealed that he did not expect the perpetrators of the Oilita to be in his neighborhood.

Karimun said that in his operation the perpetrator had asked the village officials for permission and employed local residents.

"About a month they asked for permission from residents and hired residents. So we don't suspect anything," said Karimun about this fake Oilita factory.
