"I appreciate the steps of the platform and stakeholders in the Judi Alliance, Pasti Rugi, who want to move together against online gambling," said Meutya on Monday, March 10.

He also highlighted the importance of the role of the community, especially from the family sphere, in eradicating this practice. The Minister of Communication and Trade invited Gojek driver partners who are known to be close to the community to become agents of change.

Education and socialization will be carried out by the Judi Alliance, Pasti Rugi, holistically, both through the social media platform @judipastirugi as well as a series of online education together with the wider community from Sabang to Merauke.

GoTo President Director, Patrick Walujo explained that the formation of the Pasti Rugi Judi alliance is a continuation of GoPay's commitment to eradicating online gambling through educational content that is easy to understand and reach all levels of society.

Eradication of online gambling requires the participation of all parties. Therefore, we form an Alliance of Gambling Pasti Rugi as a forum in uniting common forces to educate the public about the dangers of online gambling," said Patrick.

The presence of Telkomsel in the initiative of the Pasti Rugi Judi alliance is also expected to strengthen efforts to eradicate online gambling practices in Indonesia.

This step is in line with government priority policies through the Ministry of Communication and Digo, as well as a form of cross-sectoral collaboration in creating synergy values for a safer and more inclusive digital space.

"With the joining of Telkomsel in the Judi Alliance, we would like to emphasize our support for government policies in closing access and eradicating illegal online gambling sites," said Saki H. Bramono, VP Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility Telkomsel.
