James LaBrie Unloads Dream Theater's Long Career Secrets On The Music Stage
JAKARTA - Forming a quality band is not easy, let alone maintaining existence by continuing to be productive as a unit. Dream Theater has also succeeded in becoming a solid role model for the band from time to time.
In 2025, music bands celebrate the anniversary of those who have entered the age of 40 years. James LaBrie et al travel around various countries to present their album, Parasomnia, which was recently released on a concert tour.
Talking about the existence and solidarity of personnel, James exposed interesting things. He conveyed this in a recent conversation with Full Metal Jackie.
As a progressive rock music icon, Dream Theater continues to maintain fire in producing works. James admitted that he had instilled the mindset agreed by the personnel.
"When we started making albums, for us, it felt like we had just started a career," he was quoted as saying by Loudwire, March 10.
"It's really about pushing ourselves, feeling that we are growing not only as a band, but also individually and collectively, that we can produce something that feels fresh."

Mike Portnoy's return to the group also brought new dynamics after his role was replaced by Mike Mangini. The spirit is contained in Parasomnia's album which reminded fans of at least the first two albums of Dream Theater.
