Lovers In Denpasar Become Suspects Of Disposal Of Abortion Baby
DENPASAR - The East Denpasar Sector Police (Polsek) named a couple from Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency Ni MBM (19) and a man with the initials I Putu ADP (23) as suspects who allegedly threw away the baby from the abortion.
Head of the Public Relations Section of the Denpasar City Police, AKP I Ketut Sukadi, said that the suspect Ni MBM, who is still a student and her boyfriend, I Putu ADP, allegedly buried the body of the baby who had an abortion on Wednesday (5/2) night at around 23.00 WITA at Padanggalak Beach, Kesiman Petilan Village, East Denpasar District.
"They have been dating for about two years, they buried them on the beach out of fear," said Sukadi, Monday, March 10.
Sukadi explained that the baby girl buried in the sandpile is estimated to be seven months old.

Sukadi explained that the couple's action took place on March 5, 2025. This was known based on witness testimony at around 22.00 WITA, who saw a silver Suzuki APV car near the Padanggalak Beach monument.
The witness also saw a man walking back to the monument and digging the sand using wood in the middle of the dark night. One hour later, the witness saw that the prayer facilities in the form of a petati that looked new and thought to belong to the man he saw.
"Out of curiosity and suspicion, the witness and his girlfriend approached the location and dug up the newly excavated land (the perpetrator), then found the baby girl who still had the umbilical cord," he said.
The baby was buried at a depth of about 30 cm and wrapped in a pink blanket.
The witness immediately shouted for help from local residents and reported it to the East Denpasar Police.
The Denpasar Police Inafis Team and the East Denpasar Police who received the information also conducted a crime scene (TKP).
"The results of the Denpasar Police Inafis TKP found that the baby was wearing a shirt and wrapped in a pink color blanket, there were no signs of violence, a head shell in a condition that had not been fully connected," he said.
In addition, the baby is thought to have been born the day before. After processing the crime scene, the Denpasar City BPBD team evacuated the victim to Prof. Ngurah Sanglah Denpasar Hospital.
On the basis of this incident, the Denpasar Police and the East Denpasar Police conducted an investigation until they finally arrested the two perpetrators at the Cahaya Bunda Tabanan Hospital.
Based on the examination of the two perpetrators, both of them admitted their actions.
Sukadi said the two perpetrators admitted that they had bought drugs online to abort the pregnancy. The drugs are regularly consumed by the suspect Ni MBM to abort the pregnancy so that the fetus in the womb does not move.
In the end, the suspect Ni MBM gave birth at the Cahaya Bunda Tabanan Hospital. After being born, the medical team who handled the delivery stated that the baby was lifeless so they handed it over to the family.
The suspect, Putu ADP, took the baby's body and buried it on Padanggalak Beach, Denpasar.
