The Antara Train Line Of The Gubug Station-Grejati Station Is Re-opened
JAKARTA - The upstream route at kilometer 32+6/7 between Gubug Station-Gangjati Station, Grobogan Regency, Central Java, has been reopened and trains can be passed at limited speed.
For your information, the upstream railway line at kilometer 32 + 6 / 7 between the Gubug Station-Gangjati Station in Grobogan Regency, Central Java, was closed on Sunday, March 9, 2025 starting at 05.27 WIB.
KAI Vice President Public Relations, Anne Purba said the reopening of this route was carried out after the intensive handling process.
The upstream train line at kilometer 32 + 6 / 7 between the Gubug Stations of Karangjati in Grobogan Regency, Central Java can again be passed by trains with limited speed," he said in an official statement, Friday, March 9.
Anne said it could be that the railway line could be returned between the Gubug-Gangjati Station after the emergency response team carried out continuous handling.
The handling is carried out by flowing water through the available channels, compacting the soil around the affected area and strengthening the construction of the lane by adding cryicak.
"KAI is very grateful that the process of handling road barriers in Grobogan Regency can be completed more quickly. The weather in the location which is quite sunny from morning to noon also supports the reduction in water discharge, so that the handling process can be carried out as soon as possible," he said.

Anne said that at 12.08 WIB, the Goods train from Kalimas Station to Klari Station in Karawang, West Java became the first train to pass safely at the location.
"Even though it has been passed, there will still be queues for train trips that pass at the location because of the two available routes, only one can be passed and there is a speed limitation," he said.
Every day, there are 50 train trips that pass through Gubug Station and Karangjati Station. With the reopening of this route, the train journey north of Java between Surabaya Pasar Turi Station and Semarang Tawang Station can return to normal operations.
