Indosat, Cisco, And Komdigi Collaborate To Prepare Indonesia's Cyber Security Talents
JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) and Cisco are working with the Ministry of Communication and Digital in re-imposing the IDCamp program.
The program, which has managed to produce 300,000 digital talents since it was first launched in 2019, will now add new training and certification related to cybersecurity.
Through this program, Indosat integrates Cisco's advanced cybersecurity learning module, which will provide access for young Indonesians to gain global certification in this field.
This initiative not only provides participants with relevant technical skills but also opens opportunities for them to achieve international certification.
"We are committed to providing Indonesian talents with the skills needed to optimize each individual's potential, open up new opportunities and place Indonesia as a global leader in technology," said President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison total Sinha, in a statement quoted on Sunday, March 9.
IDCamp, which is now present with training and certification in cybersecurity, is expected to strengthen cyber defense in the government sector, business world, and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Dave West as President, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater of China, Cisco, also emphasized the importance of collaboration in building Indonesia's digital resilience amid rising global cyber threats.
According to him, this program not only equips them with the latest technical skills, but also opens access to global opportunities through globally recognized certifications.
The strategic partnership between the three parties targets the development of one million certified cybersecurity professionals, a major effort to strengthen the resilience of Indonesia's digital ecosystem in the future.
