Clothing Shop Employee In Thamrin City Stabbed By Ex-Girlfriend, Perpetrator Hurts Broken Love
JAKARTA - The man with the initials MNA (19) stabbed a clothing store employee with the initials S (19) on the 1st floor, D1, Block C 35, No. 18, Thamrin City Mall, Kebon Melati Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
The stabbing incident was caught on CCTV cameras at the scene.
The video then went viral until the perpetrator was finally arrested by the police.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said his party managed to quickly arrest the perpetrators in less than 12 hours.
The stabbing perpetrator with the initials MNA was arrested in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta. Meanwhile, MNA's friend with the initials FF (20) was arrested in the Bekasi area.
The two perpetrators were involved in the stabbing of the victim with the initials S, suspected of being hurt. Both have also admitted their actions.
"We managed to secure the main perpetrator and his partner in less than 12 hours after the incident," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday, March 9.
Officers made arrests after a report from the security of the Mall security. Then members of the Tanah Abang Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately conducted an investigation.
As a result of the stabbing, the victim with the initials S suffered a stab wound to his hand. The victim was also lying down after the stabbing occurred.
"Based on the results of the investigation, the perpetrator was determined to commit this crime because he was hurt after being decided by the victim," he said.
From the perpetrator's statement, the day before the incident, the MNA perpetrator contacted his colleague with the initials FF. Both then planned an attack on victim S.
The two perpetrators with the initials MNA and FF then met at a shop in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta. The two had a drinking party before launching a stabbing action against a clothing store employee.
The MNA suspect then offered his friend with a salary of Rp. 2 million to take him to the scene where victim S worked.
Furthermore, MNA and FF went to the Thamrin City Mall area. When they arrived at the scene, the MNA perpetrator saw victim S trying to close the shop.
Quickly, MNA immediately stabbed victim S with the knife he had prepared and immediately fled.
"The main perpetrator with the initials MNA was arrested in Kalibata, while FF was arrested in Bekasi. We confiscated a gray sweater jacket that reads HOS, a knife sarong from brown skin, as well as the results of the victim's post-mortem from RSCM. This evidence strengthens the investigation process," he said.

As a result of his actions, the suspect with the initials MNA was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder with the threat of death penalty, life imprisonment, or a maximum of 20 years.
"Meanwhile, for the elements of severe persecution, we also apply Article 351 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code with the threat of a maximum prison sentence of 5 years," he said.
Currently, the two perpetrators have been detained at the Tanah Abang Metro Police for further legal proceedings.
