The Deputy Governor Of East Kalimantan Calls Free Education To S3 Levels As Investment In Creating The 2045 Golden Generation
SAMARINDA - Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) Seno Aji said that his party took concrete steps by immediately realizing the free education program up to the doctoral level as a long-term investment to create Indonesia's golden generation in 2045.
"This free education is mandatory for us. It is mandatory because we want superior human resources in East Kalimantan in the future," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, March 9.
This program, said Seno, is not just a campaign promise, but a strategic step to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in East Kalimantan.
With free education, it is hoped that more and more young East Kalimantan will have access to quality education, without any cost constraints.
Seno realized the challenges of drug trafficking that threaten the younger generation.
He emphasized that free education is one way to fortify the younger generation from this negative influence.
He advised young East Kalimantan not to get carried away by the globalization, and to be able to filter by choosing which friends are good and which ones are not good for everyday socialization.
"If necessary, report that your friends are using this wrong thing so that rehabilitation can be carried out," said Seno.
In addition to education, free health programs are also a priority. By having health insurance, the younger generation of East Kalimantan is expected to grow healthy and productive.
"This is part of improving the health of the people of East Kalimantan in the future," said Seno.
