Mystery Of 2 Months Baby Death In West Jakarta, Police Investigate Unnatural Lebam

The police are investigating the death of a baby girl with the initials AMS (2 months) who died on Friday, March 7 at her home in Srengseng, Kembangan, West Jakarta.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol. Ade Ary, revealed that this incident was first known by the victim's mother, PA (27). According to his statement, at 21.30 WIB, he put his baby to sleep after breastfeeding, then fell asleep beside him.

However, at around 01.30 WIB, PA woke up and felt something strange about her baby's condition. Panic, she immediately woke up her husband, BP (31), who then immediately took the baby to the Kebon Jeruk Health Center.

Arriving at the puskesmas, doctors found unnatural bruises on several parts of the baby's body. Due to this irregularity, the medical authorities were unable to issue a death certificate and immediately coordinated with the police for further investigation.

"Because of the many bruises, the Puskesmas cannot issue a death certificate and must involve the police," said Ade Ary, Sunday (9/3).

The AMS baby was then referred to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of his death.

Currently, this case is under investigation by the Kembangan Police to uncover the mystery behind the death of the poor baby.
