JAKARTA The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has re-opened the mobile SIM service on Sunday, specifically for the valid SIM A and SIM C extensions. This service is available in two locations, with operating hours from 07.00 to 12.00 WIB.

East Jakarta: Jalan Raden Intan Kalimalang, Samping McD Duren Sawit West Jakarta: Jalan Panjang, Samping Indomaret Kebon Jeruk Meanwhile, mobile SIM services in South Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Central Jakarta were abolished.

Requirements And Procedures For SIM Extension

Applicants are required to bring:

- The original valid driver's license - real ID card and photocopy of ID card

Upon arrival at the location, the applicant will be asked to:

- Fill out the SIM extension form- Following medical tests and psychological tests

SIM Extension Fee

Based on PP Number 76 of 2020, the cost of extending the SIM is as follows:

- SIM A: IDR 80,000- SIM C: IDR 75,000- Psychological Test: IDR 37,500- Insurance: IDR 50,000

Mobile SIM services only serve valid SIM extensions. If the validity period is over, the applicant must apply for a new SIM at the SIM Satpas according to their domicile.

Drivers who cannot show a valid driver's license will be subject to sanctions in accordance with Article 288 paragraph 2 of Law no. 22 of 2009, with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 1 month or a fine of up to IDR 250,000.
