Temanggung Regent Visits Landslide Victims

TemanGGung - Temanggung Regent Agus Setyawan, moved quickly to review the victims of the landslide disaster in Gintung Hamlet, Giripurno Village, Ngadirejo.

In Temanggung, Saturday, Regent Agus Setyawan said the landslide caused two houses and one river stall to be damaged.

The disaster was caused by heavy rains that occurred over the past two days, apart from the condition of the area on the slopes of the mountains, it was also a factor causing landslides.

In his relationship, he appealed to the public to remain vigilant, because the rainfall in Temanggung is still high.

"Especially for people who live on mountain slopes, at least if they see the rain starting to get bigger, they can move aside first," he said.

He said he was still grateful, because the landslide did not cause any casualties. For him, there is no loss that is far greater than the lives of the people.

The family of the victim Safrudin said he was happy because the Regent of Temanggung directly observed the disaster that occurred. During the visit, the regent also provided assistance in the form of food packages and materials in the form of cement and iron.

"I'm glad, we small people feel cared for by the Regent," he said.
