Only 3 Years Old, BMW Series-7 Will Get Refreshment And Launch In 2026

JAKARTA - The current BMW Series-7 generation with the code G70 has been launched globally in 2022 with significant changes, as well as marking a new era of this German flagship sedan.

Even though it is only three years old, it is reported that the sedan will experience an update and is being tested by BMW. The car will be present at the beginning of next year as a year 2027 model.

Launching from Carscoops, Saturday, March 8, the model is rumored to be taking the design language from the Neue Classe concept like the rest of the future line. This one car is seen being tested by the road wearing camouflage with a giant grip that is maintained.

Unlike the current vertically installed Series-7 goal, this prototype sedan is installed horizontally, adopting designs such as the latest M4 and M5.

Not only that, the front has a DRL with split lights that have been removed. However, the lighting section is likely to be maintained and hidden behind the cover sticker.

The new lamp and bumper parts will be added into development and there is a possibility Series-7 will inherit the iX3 interior feature, such as the wide head-up.

It is estimated that this is a facelift version of the current generation Series-7 by presenting more technology than those sold in the market. The sedan will be equipped with the ADAS Level 3 system and a 31-inch rear screen.

Unfortunately, the German manufacturer has yet to reveal technical changes to the Series-7 and is likely to retain existing engines or drivers.

Live competitors from BMW, Mercedes-Benz are also testing the S-Class facelift with a number of changes ranging from exterior to interior. Just like Series-7, this flagship sedan will also launch in 2026.
