Welcoming Eid Al-Fitr, BNI Provides New Money Exchange Outlets

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI participated in enlivening the Semarak Ramadhan and Berkah Idulfitri (Serambi) program which is an annual agenda organized by Bank Indonesia (BI).

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo revealed that BNI's support for the program was carried out through the provision of outlets for new money exchanges which were held in several locations.

"We participated in the kick-off of the Serambi BI program in Jakarta, which is carried out in collaboration with 18 banks including BNI," he said, Saturday, March 8.

Okki said that BNI provides Outlet Services by appointing 15 outlets in the Jabodebek area to serve new currency exchanges from March 24 to 27, 2025, while for outside Jabodebek from March 17 to 27, 2025. Outlet services operate from 09.00 to 12.00 local time.

Meanwhile, the available money exchange packages amounted to Rp4.3 million per package with details of Rp50,000 denominations of Rp. 1.5 million, Rp. 500,000 as much as Rp. 500,000, Rp. 10,000 as much as Rp. 1 million, Rp. 5,000 as much as Rp. 1 million, Rp. 2,000 as much as Rp. 200,000, and Rp. 1,000 as much as Rp. 100,000.

"Don't forget, when you come to the outlet, the exchanger is required to bring proof of ordering a new money exchange service in smart applications in digital/print form, bring an original identity card and should not be represented," explained Okki.

In addition, BNI also participated in the Integrated Service, namely the Serambi exchange service at the Senayan Basketball Hall, Jakarta. The Jabodebek area will be held from March 21 to 23, 2025, while for areas outside Jabodebek, from March 17 to 27, 2024, the location is determined by BI and operating hours start from 09.00 to 16.00 local time.

"People can exchange new money according to their respective needs," said Okki.
