Hasto Kristiyanto's First Trial Held March 14th

The Secretary General of the PDI-P, Hasto Kristiyanto, will soon undergo the first trial of the alleged interim bribery case (PAW) for members of the DPR and the obstruction of the investigation.

Based on the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the Central Jakarta District Court, the trial was held on Friday, March 14.

"The trial is March 14, 2025, at 09.00 WIB until it is finished," reads a statement on the SIPP website of the Central Jakarta District Court, quoted on Saturday, March 8.

Hasto Kristiyanto's case is known to be registered with number 36/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN Jkt.Pst. The inaugural trial was held in the courtroom Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Hatta with the agenda of reading the indictment by the public prosecutor (JPU).

Hasto Kristiyanto is known to have been named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the alleged bribery case between time and time (PAW) that ensnared former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan and his fugitive, Harun Masiku.

Not only Hasto, the KPK also named Donny Tri Istiqomah, who is a PDIP cadre and a lawyer as a suspect.

In the development of case handling, Hasto is also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of trying to obstruct the legal process, one of which is by asking Harun to damage his cellphone and run away after the hand arrest operation (OTT) was carried out.
