Whitesky Aviation Gets Helicopter Financing In Rupiah Currency

JAKARTA - Air transportation service provider Whitesky Aviation has officially launched its first helicopter financing program using rupiah currency.

This initiative aims for support for intercity mobility in Indonesia with a more flexible and affordable financial solution. The helicopter, which is included in the funding scheme, is registered with the PK which will operate in Indonesian territory.

The program was launched by Whitesky Aviation together with Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing (SMFL). This agreement was signed by the CEO of Whitesky Aviation, Denon Prawiraatmadja, and the President Director of SMFL Indonesia, Mr. Koichi Ito.

The CEO of Whitesky Aviation, Denon Prawiraatmadja, said that in this agreement, the value of helicopter financing reached around Rp. 70 billion. He also said this collaboration became a new history in the Indonesian aviation industry.

"This is the signing of the first helicopter financing financing in Rupiah currency from SMFL with Whitesky Aviation," Denon said in an official statement, Friday, March 7.

For more than 14 years, continued Denon, Whitesky Aviation has been a pioneer of intercity helicopter transportation services through the Helicity platform.

He said this service not only serves mining companies but also various other urban mobility needs, making it an efficient and reliable transportation solution.

For your information, Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing (SMFL) which is part of a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG) Japan.

This collaboration is carried out with Whitesky as well as welcoming opportunities to strengthen its support in the Indonesian aviation industry, including helicopters and e-VTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing).

President Director of PT. SMFL Leasing Indonesia, Mr. Koichi Ito believes that cooperation with Whitesky Aviation with good experience is a strategic first step in supporting the air transportation industry in the success of economic growth in Indonesia towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
