Retired Police Died In The Current On Bali's Berawa Beach

BADUNG - An elderly man with the initials IMRS (60) is suspected of being swept away by the current on Berawa Beach, in front of the Finns Beach Club, in Tibubeneng Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

The retired National Police came from Banjar Sengguan, Penerungan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency.

"At around 10:45 WITA, the victim arrived at the Garbamed Hospital and was treated by a doctor and was later declared the victim has died," said Head of Public Relations of Badung Police Ipda I Putu Sukarma, Friday, March 7.

At first, witnesses around the location heard Caucasian screams asking for help. There the victim was seen lying.

"The victim's heart rate was still beating until the Balawista ambulance arrived, then the victim was lifted and put into an ambulance," he added.
