Saudi Arabia Launches AI-Based Robot Service To Answer Pilgrims' Questions At The Grand Mosque
JAKARTA - President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Sheikh Dr. Nabawi Mosque. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais launched robotic services with artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve services to pilgrims.
Named 'Manarah Robot', the service is intended to answer questions from pilgrims at the Grand Mosque in various languages.
This initiative is in line with smart digital transformation and enhancing modern and AI technology to enrich the experiences of pilgrims and visitors, as well as conveying moderate messages from the Two Holy Mosques to the world in various languages.
Dr. Al-Sudais stressed that the presidency has paid great attention to improving and expanding the designated location to answer visitor questions at the Two Holy Mosques during the holy month of Ramadan, quoted from the SPA 7 March.
Furthermore, Sheikh Sudais noted, this aims to provide high standards religious services and improve their quality to accommodate millions of worshipers and visitors.
The President for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques emphasized that the robot functions as an innovative AI-based tool to enrich the experience of visitors, which is an advanced and up-to-date AI model designed to respond to questions from pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.

He stated that the robot was specifically designed for the presidency as a smart reference supported by AI to answer religious and legal questions through a comprehensive and regulated database.
In addition, Sheikh Sudais indicated the robot offers direct communication with leading ulama via video call if the question was not previously stored.
