Sadistic Robbers In Sukabumi, Company Employees Hacked And Rp504 Million Lost

SUKABUMI - Sukabumi City Police Criminal Investigation Unit and Warudoyong Police Criminal Investigation Unit are hunting for a gang of robbers who stole hundreds of millions of rupiah around the Taman Bahagia Public Cemetery, Jalan Taman Bahagia, Sukabumi City, West Java.

"As a result of the robbery that occurred on Tuesday night, the victim with the initials E, a resident of Jalan Kabandungan, Selabatu Village, Cikole District, Sukabumi City, suffered stab wounds to sharp weapons in the thigh and arm. In addition, the company's money where the victim worked worth 504 million rupiah disappeared was brought by the perpetrators of the robbery," said Head of Public Relations of the Sukabumi Police, Astuti Setyaningsih City, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 7.

According to Astuti, the victim has reported this incident to the Warudoyong Police, and the alleged case of violent theft is under investigation. The Sukabumi City Police have formed a team to hunt down the gang of robbers.

The police said the robbery occurred to employees of PT Sinar Mitra Milik, a company that supplies various types of cigarettes, when the victim was on his way home after collecting money from a food stall in the Caringin Ngumbang Village area, Sukakarya Village, Warudoyong District.

On the way, the victim, who was using a Yamaha Nmax motorcycle, was allegedly followed by the alleged perpetrator who used a white Honda Beat motorcycle without a police license plate.

Arriving at Jalan Taman Bahagia, to be precise in the cemetery area, the victim was grabbed and kicked until he fell to the left side of the sidewalk.

The victim who tried to fight was immediately stabbed by a robber using a sharp weapon.

After launching the action, the herd stole a backpack containing approximately 504 million rupiah and one unit of the victim's cellphone. The characteristics of the perpetrator have been identified.

The police appealed to residents to always be aware of street crimes and if they brought large amounts of money to ask the police for help to carry out escorts.
