Exclusive Gisellma Firmansyah, Consider Acting Not Just A Job

JAKARTA - Gisellma Firmansyah, a talented young actress, has been pursuing a career in entertainment since she was young. Her journey, which began since childhood, brought her to become one of the talents taken into account in the Indonesian entertainment industry. In an interview with VOI, Gisellma shared the story of her career journey, challenges, and love for the world that has made her name.

Gisellma shared that she had been in the entertainment world since she was very young. Although many know her career journey starting at the age of two, she straightened out that this age was the beginning of her casting. However, the experience in front of the camera has started since it was younger.

"Yes, I had a story. Actually, it's not 2 years old, 2 years old, it started casting. But if for example a photoshoot-photoshoot, if for example it can be include, it might be from the events of the healthy baby competition, I've often photoshooted like that since I was little," Giselma Firmansyah told VOI.

Realizing this, Gisellma admits that she indirectly grows up in the entertainment world industry. Fortunately, she never felt that her childhood seemed to be different from those of her age, although it was undeniable that there was a different pressure.

"To be honest, I didn't ( feel like I lost my childhood), because I'm actually from 7 years old until now, I've never been homeschooled, I really am even though I really compete for small children and from elementary, junior high school, I really study in the country, and it's quite difficult to struggle, struggle, but maybe come back again because I really really interest and really love the entertainment world, so I'm tired that's not bad, so it's fun, even though physically it can be sick, but mentally, I'm very happy and so I've never felt pressured," he said.

However, he always tries to see the positive side of every opportunity he gets in the entertainment world.

"But there are times when I feel like there are some shows that I miss in my teenage years, but, back again my teenage friends don't get what I get in the entertainment world. I always think like every opportunity is for each other, so it's every moment, I have, but I'm cherish with, what do I get in the entertainment world, in the youth world too, so actually balance, but there are some things they don't get me, but they don't get what I get. I always think like that, "he said.

Gisellma's love for the entertainment world has been embedded since childhood. In fact, the decision to follow casting when he was two years old comes from his own wishes.

"It's very fun because this is what I really passion about because when I was 2 years old why I was my mother, my mother said okay casting, because I actually asked for the truth. I really like films. I like watching movies from a young age, I like watching any theater on TV or when I usually watch it, "said Gisellma.

"It means everyone at this entertainment is also fighting each other and not only us the actors but also the film crew, then the production people, all of them are involved in a film that I think requires a lot of people and, not just movies but advertisements and whatever it is that is created in my opinion," he said.

Already having an interest in the entertainment industry since childhood, Gisellma has a different view about her profession as an actor. For this Anak Kunti film player, the actor is more than just a job but also a forum for him to vent his hobby.

"I never did, I've never had a career actress as a job even though the reality is indeed profitable, but I think we'll come back again, if for example I can't maybe it's luck-lucky luck, if for example we can be in this industry until we're old, so I really discuss it as a passion, as a hobby that I enjoy until I do, I feel enough, I feel enough," explained Gisellma Firmansyah.

However, Gisellma still opens the possibility if one day acting becomes her main job. However, he still has a reserve plan by studying in law.

"But I really never thought of this as my main job, but if for example I was destined to play my job, yes I enjoyed it too. I have, I've thought about a lot of things, I mean I'm also studying law and that's also what I've arranged, oh I want to be this-this is for plan A, plan B, so as a play job, I've always thought about not working, it's more like just running my hobby, that's it," he continued.

Like many other actors, Gisellma has also experienced a moment where she feels doubtful about her path in the entertainment world. However, every year there is always a new surprise that keeps him excited to survive.

"There were times when I was like, crazy, I don't think this is work, I don't think it's me, but, I don't know, maybe because I believe and believe that if for example what we are going through seriously and we are consistent, it will be realized so all this time I'm still holding on and walking because there are, every year there are new things that make me feel like this is my place, I don't think so, then there's just a new surprise that I've always been excited to wait for the future, so I'm just curious," he explained.

His curiosity about new projects and the opportunity to work with various actors and directors is also one of the main reasons he has remained in the world of acting.

"Why am I holding on? Because there are still many projects that I'm actually still targeting, which are like new genres that I haven't found, so I'm still curious about working with this actor, how about working with this director, for example, how about working with this director, so there are a lot, it's very wide, things that I haven't achieved yet, that's why I've survived until now," said Gisellma.

So far, Gisellma has been better known for her role in horror films. However, she wants to try other genres like action and comedy to gain new experiences and expand her skills as an actress.

"Maybe the experience, the moment, I want to get his experience, it's because like I said earlier, I haven't tried the genres or comedy, because so far people know I've been in a horror, I've had action, but that was when I was a child so I wanted to repeat the experience again, I want to remember the memories again, how about it," he explained.

He also hopes to play new characters that challenge his ability to act.

"Moreover, now maybe I could get a character who at that time was a child, Dinda, Foxme Six, when I was little, but now what if I grow up, if I get a character that I can fight too or in comedy I can joke too, it's also my experience to want to be seen with new characters. If for example, I want a moment with a new person like that too," concluded Gisellma.
