Speeding Ahead Of Maghrib, Men Of Tebet Residents Died Horribly On Jalan Kalimalang

JAKARTA - A man named Baziduhu Laoli, a resident of Tebet, South Jakarta, died tragically in a traffic accident on Jalan Kalimalang, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, on Thursday (6/3/2025) evening ahead of the Maghrib call. The victim suffered serious injuries to his head and legs as a result of the accident.

Incident Chronology

According to an eye witness named Budi, the incident began when the victim was traveling at high speed along with two other motorcyclists from the direction of the Base Jati intersection to Bekasi. It is suspected that the victim's motorbike collided with two other motorbikes, causing the victim to lose control.

"There were three motorbikes in the accident. Two motorbikes fell, while the other did not fall and immediately fled," said Budi at the scene.

As a result of losing balance, the victim was thrown into the road and run over by the left front tire of the box truck that was driving behind him.

Evacuation and Congestion The police officers who arrived at the location immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and secured the truck drivers from being targeted by the masses.

This accident caused a two-kilometer traffic jam from Cipinang to Bekasi during the evacuation process.

Currently, truck drivers and evidence have been secured in the East Jakarta Traffic Unit. Meanwhile, the victim's body was evacuated to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, for further processing.
