Arsenal Will Increase Ticket Prices For The Second Year In A Row

JAKARTA - Arsenal will raise ticket prices once again next season with an average of 3.7 percent.

This is the second straight increase after a 5 percent increase for the current season. Unlike other Premier League clubs, including Liverpool leaders Brentford and West Ham, all of whom have committed to freezing prices.

The decision was taken to follow the widespread involvement of supporters. In addition, there was a recent club financial factor--issued last month--which showed Arsenal lost 17.7 million pounds in an annual financial report ending May 31, 2024.

The same report also revealed an increase in remuneration of 630,000 pounds for directors with their highest pay, which was not named.

Arsenal have also led a 40 percent increase in player salaries and have lost a total of 238 million pounds over the past four years.

However, the Gunners posted a record earnings of 617 million pounds last year, mainly driven by their return to the Champions League.

Arsenal has protected concessions in accordance with requests from the Football Supporters Association which includes retention of senior citizens' prices.

The Gunners also introduced seasonal tickets for 19 games that would allow supporters to only attend Premier League matches.

That means supporters who adopt this plan will pay around 400 pounds cheaper for seasonal tickets than they are paying now.

Arsenal's most expensive seasonal ticket this season is only more than 2,000 pounds.
