Not Only Sedan, The Latest Mercedes-Benz CLA Will Be Present In Shooting Brake Version

JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz is preparing to introduce the latest generation of CLA models in pure electric (EV) and ICE variants in the form of compact sedans as before. However, this type is not the only choice presented by this brand.

It is reported that the model will also be present in the Shooting Brake variant, which offers a more spacious backroom than the sedan.

Launching from Carscoops, Thursday, March 6, the Shooting Brake version of Mercedes-Benz CLA was seen passing through the streets of Europe with an exterior covered in a cover.

The car is known to still have the status of a prototype with camouflage covering the front and back. In front of the car, it has the latest CLA-like shape with a lower lookER and aggressive headlights with stellar-pattered LEDs.

Just like other Mercedes-Benz ranks, this car has a flat door handle on its profile. Then, the back and roof lines have been redesigned to be more elongated and sloping.

German manufacturers also provided CLA Shooting Brakes with aluminum trims around the windows and also a sleek rooftop rails.

The thing that is most highlighted in the model is the back. The Shooting Brake version of CLA has a new LED light with oval-shaped graphics accompanied by a smaller rear window.

Moving to the inside, this latest car will have digital cockpit technology operated by the latest MB.OS software with AI technology in it. Because of its elongated back, the CLA will offer a wider baggage space with a wider head space than its sedan version.

Just like the sedan version, the CLA Shooting Brake will be built on the MMA platform which is flexibly offered with the powertrain ICE and EV.

This version of CLA will offer an EV version with a rear-driven electric motor that has a power of 268 phone or all-wheel drive that provides an additional power boost of 107 hp.

The core staff of this car is a battery package with a capacity of 58 kWh or 85 kWh, so it is claimed to be able to provide a distance of 750 km in one full energy filling.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz is expected to present it in the ICE variant combining it with a hybrid system that provides a total power boost of up to 215 hp. Like other models, the CLA Shooting Brake will be offered with a transmission of eight dual-clutch accelerations and 4mac AWD drivers as optional.

Although not yet officially announced, this one car is expected to be introduced at the end of this year in the hope of starting sale in early 2026.
