AGO: There Are No Facts About Erick Thohir's Involvement In The Pertamina Crude Oil Case
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has not found any facts about the involvement of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir or the owner of PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADARO) Garibaldi Thohir in the case of corruption in crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina.
Head of the Information and Law Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, emphasized that the investigation team of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) denied information on various social media platforms (medsos) linking Erick and Boy in cases that cost the state Rp193.7 trillion throughout 2018-2023.
"There is no fact about that," said Harli when contacted by the media crew, Wednesday, March 5.
The AGO, said Harli, regretted the information presented in the public regarding the crude oil and refinery products case, but was not based on the facts of the investigation.
"Where did such information come from?" said Harli.
He emphasized that the corruption investigation carried out by the team in Jampidsus was based on legal facts and the findings of evidence. And until now, in this case there has been no connection with Erick or Boy.
