The Coordinating Minister For Food And The Governor Of West Java Intervened In Sealing 4 Tourist Attractions In Puncak Bogor

Coordinating Minister (Menko) for Food Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), Minister of Environment (MenLH) Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Governor of West Java (Jabar) Dedi Mulyadi, and Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto sealed four tourist attractions in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, Thursday, March 6.

The sealing was carried out because the tourist attraction violated the land conversion function.

"In our context, from LH, there are so many complaints from the public and also the impact of the extraordinary floods in order to also enforce the laws and regulations in force," said Zulhas after sealing, which was confiscated by Antara.

The first locations that were sealed were the Ciliwung Tea Factory in Telaga Saat, Hibisc Fantasy, the PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) I Regional 2 Agro Wisata Gunung Mas and Eiger Adventure Land buildings.

"Four days, tomorrow maybe more," he said.

Minister of Environment and Forestry Hanif Faisol Nurofiq said that there were indications of a criminal violation committed in the construction of four sealed money tours. His party will conduct an in-depth investigation.

"So the criminal indications already exist. So we will demand two things related to all tenants confiscated by the Coordinating Minister and the Governor," said Hanif.

Based on the results of the study, the four buildings have contributed to flooding with considerable material losses and one death toll.

So, said Hanif, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan asked him to carry out a detailed analysis related to the use of his land.

"This central government must not be silent, we must take serious steps and this incident has repeated itself, meaning that nature has calibrated that if we do something like this, the disaster upstream downstream is quite large," he said.

Hanif added that this sealing was originally scheduled to continue along the Ciliwung Watershed (DAS). Starting from the upstream area in Puncak to downstream in the Jakarta area.

"We are in segment one of the Ciliwung watersheds. Well, this upstream segment is in Bogor Regency, then the second segment is in Bogor City, the third segment is Regency again, the fourth segment is Depok, the fifth segment and the enem in Jakarta Special Region," he explained.

Meanwhile, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi emphasized that he would return West Java's nature to its original state in accordance with the spatial arrangement. This is to save the people of West Java and Jakarta.

"For this reason, we will also coordinate with the Governor of Jakarta to discuss this because West Java is the doorstop for Jakarta and most importantly residents in Jakarta, no longer building villa buildings and the like in Puncak," said Dedi.

Responding to the rampant conversion of land functions in Bogor Regency, Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto firmly revoked the authority of regional work units (SKPD) in the Bogor Regency Government, in granting permits.

He admitted that he would be more selective in issuing various permits, especially those related to the environment in Bogor Regency.

"I issued a new Regent Regulation (Perbup), we signed it today, namely pulling the entire licensing process back to the regional head. We are withdrawing the permit for the delegation of tasks to each SKPD," said Rudy.

Now, the permit management stage, after going through the mechanism in each SKPD with an Electronicly Integrated Business Licensing System (OSS), then needs the approval of the regional head.

Not only that, Rudy will also evaluate various permits that have been issued by the Bogor Regency Government.
