JAKARTA - BPJS Ketenagakerjaan collaboration with the provincial government of DKI Jakarta distribute donations in the form of cooked food for Refugees affected by the flood disaster.
The assistance was handed over directly by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, at the evacuation post for residents at the Otista Sports Hall, East Jakarta, Wednesday, March 5.
During his visit, Pramono entertained and distributed gifts to children who were forced to leave their homes to evacuate.
Pramono also had time to talk with residents who had fled.
One of the residents complained to Pramono about the loss of goods due to the flood that had hit since a few days ago.
He admitted that his children could not go to school because school supplies were washed away.
"Even though the goods are washed away, we are sincere, sir, there must be a solution, we are all the same. Bags, clothes, shoes are washed away, we automatically cannot go to school," he said.
After the visit, Pramono said he wanted to ensure that all basic needs of the people affected by the flood could be met.
