The Attorney General's Office Examines 8 Witnesses In The Case Of Alleged Crude Oil Corruption Of PT Pertamina, One Of Which Is Automotive Influencer

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Investigation (Dirdik) of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) examined eight witnesses in the case of alleged corruption in the management of crude oil and refinery products of PT Pertamina (Persero) for the 2018-2023 period.

The witnesses examined included MP, Director of Downstream Business Development at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, ARH, Sub-Coordinator of Oil Fuel Prices at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, DM, Head of the Accounting Division of SKK Migas, CMS, Coordinator of Subsidy for Oil and Gas Fuel at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Gas, AA, Manager of QMS PT Pertamina (Persero), ESJ, Analytic Planning Staff of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan, ES, VP Procurement and Contracting of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan WK Rokan, FEP, automotive influencer.

"Today's examination relates to the case that dragged the suspect YF and other parties," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar at the AGO, Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

The Attorney General's Office stated that the summons of witnesses was aimed at strengthening the evidence and completing the investigation file

This case is still being developed to uncover allegations of irregularities in crude oil management and refinery products within PT Pertamina, Sub Holding, and Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) in 2018-2013.

The AGO has named nine suspects related to alleged corruption in the management of crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina (Persero), Sub Holding and Contractors of Cooperation Contracts (KKKS) Due to several unlawful acts, which resulted in state losses of around Rp193.7 trillion in 2023.

In detail, the loss of domestic crude exports is around Rp35 trillion. Loss of imports of crude oil through DMUT/Broker are around Rp2.7 trillion. Loss of imports of fuel through DMUT/Broker are around Rp9 trillion. Losses of compensation (2023) are around Rp126 trillion. Subsidized loss (2023) is around Rp21 trillion.
