The Governor Of West Java Will Not Block The KPK Investigation Related To The BJB Corruption Case

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi stated that he would not hinder the investigation of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten (BJB) to uncover the ongoing cases, because it is the authority of the law enforcement agency.

"If it doesn't need to be asked, it has become the authority of the KPK," said Dedi at the Pakuan Bandung building, Wednesday, March 5, as reported by ANTARA.

Dedi hopes that the investigation process carried out by the KPK will not affect the regulatory aspects in BJB. Even according to him, although there was an examination by the KPK and the resignation of the President Director of BJB, Yuddy Renaldi, the development of market sentiment was observed to be positive.

"I hope so, now if you look at market sentiment, it is also positive. Today the stock price has risen again. Hopefully, after I talk today, tomorrow it will rise again and public trust will grow with the management of professionals, regardless of political intervention," he said.

Dedi also guaranteed that during his leadership, no one on behalf of himself should make it easier to deal with bureaucracy, politics, BUMD including BJB.

In fact, Dedi said that BUMD in West Java will be audited investigatively or thoroughly which will produce only two recommendations between improvements or business closures.

"So you can see, I was in the lead, there were no right, left, side, I'm in the lobby there, there's no lobby here. Even if there is, it's not from me. So please report what his name is announcing on social media," he said.

The KPK has started an investigation into the alleged corruption case within PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten (BJB) Tbk.

"Yes, we have issued an investigation letter," said KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto at the KPK Anti-Corruption Education Center Building, Jakarta, Wednesday.

Setyo said the KPK would also coordinate if there were already law enforcement officers (APH) who had already handled the same case.

"If it is informed that there is another APH that does that, the task of the director of the investigation and the Kasatgas will be to coordinate," he said.

Regarding when the KPK announced the party designated as a suspect and the construction of the case, Setyo said it was the authority of the KPK investigating team

"Follow up on the handling, after the release is made regarding the determination of the case, it will be the authority of the investigator and director or deputy when the follow-up will be carried out," said Setyo.
