Inspection Of Fuel Quality At Gas Stations, Pertamina Collaborates With PT Surveyor Indonesia And PT TUV Rheinland Indonesia

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Simon Aloysius Mantiri conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) directly to a number of Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) in Jakarta to see the quality of Pertamina's fuel products.

During the examination accompanied by independent institutions PT Surveyor Indonesia and PT TUV Rheinland Indonesia, it was obtained that the quality of Pertamina's fuel products was in accordance with the specified technical specifications standards.

"Today we are testing Pertamina's fuel products. So apart from Pertamina conducting periodic tests with Lemigas, we also use a surveyor (testing agency) namely Surveyor Indonesia and TUV Rheinland Indonesia to ensure the quality of products from Pertamina's fuel is in accordance with applicable standards," explained Simon after conducting a gas station inspection at 34,129,02 Jalan Gatot Subroto and 31,128,02 Gas Stations on Jalan MT. Haryono, South Jakarta, Wednesday, March 5.

The inspection was also attended by the Daily Task Force (PTH) President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, as well as PT Surveyor Indonesia and TUV Rheinland Indonesia, an independent company that conducts testing, inspection, and certification of products, technology, and systems.

Trypto President Director Rheinland Nyoman Susila said, from a series of measurements carried out in quantity and quality, Pertamina's fuel products were in accordance with specifications.

"Regarding the density and volume testing we got from 2 gas stations, it was in accordance with the standards," said Nyoman.

The same thing was expressed by the Vice President of the Strategic Business Division, Oil, Gas, Renewable Energy of PT Surveyor Indonesia Muhammad Chairudin.

According to him, from the joint test carried out on Pertamina's fuel products which refers to the Regulation of the Director General of Oil and Gas, that Pertamina's fuel products are in accordance with regulations, including in terms of coloring.

Pth President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Mars Ega Legowo Putra added that with the joint test, the two independent institutions got the results that Pertamina's fuel products had met applicable regulations.

Through a joint test of the quality of this product, Pertamina ensures that energy services, especially during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 H moments, can run smoothly.

"Pertamina continues to strengthen coordination with stakeholders to ensure operational reliability and the operation of all energy infrastructure can be optimized to meet the energy needs of the community," he said.
