The Latest Generation Jeep Compass Debuts This Spring, Take A Peek At Its Estimated Change

JAKARTA - Waiting for the arrival of the latest generation Jeep Compass is coming to an end. Recently, Stellantis released a number of teasers for the SUV ahead of its global launch this spring.

Launching from Carscoops, Wednesday, March 5, this medium-sized SUV features a number of the latest details, including the presence of a more brain-inspired front light set from Jeep Recon. The hallmarks of Jeep models such as goal seven slots are maintained for this model.

Not only the front, but the rear light on Jeep Compass also gets a refresher by showing sharper LED graphics that follow the contour on the back shoulder.

Although the information about this model is still limited, Compass will latest carry the STLA Medium architecture developed by the parent company, Stellantis. The platform focuses on flexibility, making it suitable for a wide selection of converty powertrains from pure gasoline, conventional hybrid, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), to complete electricity (EV).

The third-generation Jeep Compass will be another model that carries the STLA Medium platform, in addition to Peugeot 3008 and 5008, Opel Grandland, DS 7, and Citroen C5 Aircross.

Stellantis also promises the latest Compass will offer advanced technologies, such as the latest connectivity and the ADAS system is more up-to-date than ever.

In addition to a bolder external design and equipped with advanced technology, this third-generation Compass will carry a bolder design like other Jeep models, namelyvenger.

The latest compass will be equipped with a millid-hybrid powertrain with a 1.2 liter gasoline engine powered by 134 hp paired with a dual electric motorcycle of 28 hp which is optimized along with a transmission of six dual-clutch accelerations.

For the electricity version, Jeep will launch various variants depending on the power and size of the battery. It is estimated that it will use technology from Peugeot with a 316-hp electric motor and a 96 kWh battery that can provide 700 km of travel distance.

The latest generation Jeep Compass will be marketed for the first time in Europe and production starts at the end of this year, taking place at the Melfi factory, Italy.
