Honda Sales In The US Drop February 2025, Electrification Model Continues To Grow

JAKARTA - One of the leading automotive manufacturers, Honda closed February this year with sales of 107,011 units in the United States (US), down 2.8 percent compared to last year's achievement in the same period.

Launching from the company's official website, Wednesday, March 5, Honda brand vehicles contributed 97,688 units and the Acura brand totaled 9,323 units throughout last February.

Starting with Honda, the CR-V model is still the best-selling of all the products offered in Uncle Sam's country with 30,458 units. These results were followed by Civic with a total of 18,178 units.

The SUV car market is still in demand with HR-V collecting sales of up to 13,484 units and Pilots with a total of 10,204 units successfully sold during that period.

Complementing the top five, Accord became another best-selling model of the Honda brand with 8,906 units sold in the US market.

In the electrification segment, the Honda CR-V Hybrid is the best-selling with 17,176 units, up 19.2 percent from last year's gain. This was followed by Civic Hybrid with a total of up to 6,051 units and Accord with 5,376 units.

The only electric vehicle model offered by Honda in the US, namely Prologue, has sold 2,933 units.

Meanwhile, Acura, which occupies the premium segment, collected sales of 9,323 units, down 4.6 percent from last year's acquisition in the same month.

Then, the best-selling model obtained in this brand is MDX with a total of 3,463 units, then RDX with a total of 2,561 units, and ZDX's first electric vehicle with 1,494 units.

Complementing the top five, Integra became the next best-selling model with a total of 1,367 units and TLX as many as 438 units over the past month.
