In Three Weeks, Pluang Successfully Achieved More Than 10,000 Participants In Ultimate Trading Championship

Pluang, the most complete multi-asset trading application in Indonesia that already has more than 11.7 million registered users, launched the Ultimate Trading Championship (UTC); a trading competition designed to encourage financial inclusion, especially for young Indonesian investors and traders.

Through UTC, multi-asset investment and trading applications that have more than 1,000 choices of US crypto assets, shares and ETF, mutual funds, and digital gold are ready to educate and provide space for the wider community to show off how to trade and invest through exciting, interactive, and competitive mechanisms, as well as providing opportunities for anyone to develop financial skills and achieve a total prize of IDR 288 million.

UTC runs from February 13 to May 31, 2025, open to all Pluang users, both novice investors and professional traders. The UTC trading competition is designed to capture the momentum of increasing public interest in utilizing financial services, including investment.

This is in line with the findings of the OJK in the 2024 National Literacy and Financial Inclusion Survey (SNLIK), which noted that the level of financial inclusion has reached more than 65 percent. This figure has increased by almost 22 percent in the last decade, reflecting an increase in financial education among the Indonesian people.

On the other hand, the number of crypto asset investors also grew by 18 percent year-on-year throughout 2024, reflecting the increasing public interest in investing in digital assets. This interest continues to grow along with the increasing number of investment assets available today.

Ultimate Trading Championship (UTC) presents a different trading competition than others by creating fair opportunities for all participants. Participants will be grouped in three categories based on AUM (Asset Under Management) to ensure balanced competition, namely Challenger (AUM below Rp10 million), Elite (AUM Rp10 million - Rp100 million), and Legend (AUM above Rp100 million) so that they can compete purely in balance based on their strategy and trading capabilities.

All participants in the three categories can compete in 2 Leaderboards, namely:hird Leaderboard Profit in Rupiah (IDR P&L), where the winner is determined based on absolute gain in the Rupiah.
