JAKARTA - Label Musica Studios introduces its newest artist, Terbit Dari Selatan. The band from Bandar Lampung came with a debut single entitled Behrih.
With the strains of syahdu music and poetic lyrics, 'Revers' is a reflection of the warm moments of togetherness, which feels like old memories that come back to life.
With a quiet night background and starbursting stars, this song depicts an emotional journey of someone who finds peace in the presence of loved ones.
"The lyrics contain a message about determination in relationships, even though the world around them is not always friendly," said Dedes, a member of Terbit Dari Selatan as well as a songwriter, in a press statement, Wednesday, March 5.
"There is a belief that love and deep entanglement will always find its way, like a whispering of the heart which is finally answered by the universe," he continued.
The nuances of syahdu in this song are further strengthened by a metaphor for the revival of a long sleep, which brings a feeling of freshness after the rain, as if signaling a new beginning.
Meanwhile, the unique character of Elisa Asile (vocals) is a distinct feature brought by Terbit Dari Selatan, coupled with a guitar excerpt from Dedes (lead) and Nay (rhythm), as well as the fixter Wawank Kanki (drums).
This song arrangement was carried out for three months, with the original natural soundscape experiment Bandar Lampung to add a more emotional impression.

As the beginning of his introduction to Indonesian music lovers, Terbit From the South also invited listeners to share stories about the moment of switching'' in life through TikTok social media with the hashtag #BerihBersamaTDS.
