Private Company THR Circular Is Canceled Today, Wamenaker: Due To Flood Disasters

The Ministry of Manpower has canceled the announcement of the holiday allowance (THR) disbursement schedule for private company employees which is scheduled to be announced today.

Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer said the postponement of this announcement was due to a flood that hit a number of areas in Jabodetabek.

"We don't feel good about THR, but at the time of the disaster we were rich we didn't have empathy. I mean the points are there, so it's not because we didn't announce it today, but because there was a disaster and the announcement was that there was a THR. I think ethically this is not good," he told the media crew at the Ministry of Manpower Building, Wednesday, March 5.

Although it was announced today, Noel confirmed that the THR announcement will be made in the near future along with the THR announcement for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

"The private THR hasn't yet. Let Mr. Menetri (Yassierli). It has been discussed but let's be together (ASN) with the announcement," he continued.

He also emphasized that the announcement of i ni will take place within 2 weeks before Eid al-Fitr.

"Yes, like that, usually in general it's rich, the tradition is h-2 weeks before Eid," explained Noel.

Met on the same occasion, Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Manpower Sunardi Sinaga said that currently his party is still discussing mitigation of facing complaints from the public.

"So because there were a lot of discussions, now it just so happens that the THR will wait in the near future, as soon as possible, it will be delivered as soon as possible," concluded Sunardi.
