The Failure Of The Anarcho Group's Plan To Create Confusion During The COVID-19 Pandemic
JAKARTA - The Anarcho Syndicalism group is trying to take advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to make various plans of chaos. The police successfully thwarted the plan after arresting five of its members.
The five members of the anarcho group, MRR aka Bunga (21), AAM aka Aflah (18), RIAP aka Rio (18), RJ alias Riski (19), and MRH. They were arrested for committing acts of vandalism at several points in the city of Tangerang with provocative narratives.
Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Nana Sudjana said, with this provocative narrative, they wanted to cause upheaval in society. So that, later the community will be provoked by emotions according to the group's plan.
"The writings they made using pilox were 'kill the rich or' kill the rich people ',' it's a crisis, it's time to burn ',' want to die silly or fight. 'So, this is what they wrote," said Nana in Jakarta, Saturday, April 11.
From the results of the investigation of the perpetrators, they were proven to be members of the Anarcho Syndicalism group. However, the five of them have different backgrounds. Although, almost all of them are students and students.
In fact, from their cellphone searches, it is known that the plan to create chaos and looting is not only in the DKI Jakarta area. Some areas that are included in the group's plan are Bandung and several cities on the island of Java.
Then, in their plan, this rioting action will begin in the middle of April 2020. So, they have started making triggers so that the community will participate in the riots.
"This group is planning an action on April 18, 2020, of joint vandalism in several major cities on the island of Java. This situation is used by them to invite the public to riot, burn and also loot," said Nana.
The main reason for this group is because they are not satisfied with the policies issued or made by the government. So, as a form of disappointment they then planned to be confused to overthrow the current government.
"They are not satisfied with government policies and are trying to take advantage of the situation in which the community is restless, and make people even more restless, and they invite people to commit this disorder," said Nana.
For now, investigations regarding their plan are still being developed. However, the five members of the anarcho group have been behind bars and charged with Article 14 and or Article 15 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations and / or Article 160 of the Criminal Code with the threat of 10 years in prison.
