Make Sure Operations Are Not Diluted Due To Corruption Cases, Pertamina: There Is No Sealing

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures that the company's operational activities are not disrupted due to the corruption case of crude oil management involving a subsidiary director.

Pertamina's Finance Director, Emma Srimengatakan, pihaknya telah melakukan konsultasi dengan Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) dan mendapatkan jaminan keberlangsungan operasional perusahaan di tengah proses hukum yang tengah berjalan.

"So the Prosecutor's Office will not carry out any kind of sealing or confiscation of assets used for smooth operation, distribution, and also services to the community in the context of providing energy, as well as national energy defense, especially those concerning national vital objects," said Emma, quoted on Wednesday, March 5.

Thus, the distribution of energy to the community will run normally because there is no act of confiscation of assets from the AGO.

"So, this is underlying and supporting from the Prosecutor's Office is really solid, guaranteeing that there will be no disruption from national energy operations and resilience," he explained.

Regarding trust and confidence in financiers (lenders) and investors, Pertamina President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri has held a meeting with related parties.

"So the support from small leaders and stakeholders remains uninterrupted, because seeing that government support remains intact, it will not interfere with the operations and cash flow revenue generation from Pertamina Group will continue to run normally," he continued.

On the other hand, banking and liquidity facilities will continue to run according to the plans set out in the RKAP, RJPP and the company's investment plan timeline.

"Bank facilities and facilities that support our liquidity are related to support for working capital, as well as for investment, for increased lifting production, as well as for booking capital, and investment costs throughout the Pertamina Group, it is still running according to the timeline," he said.
