KPK Cecar 2 Witnesses Investigate Corruption In The Riau SKA Flyover Development Project

"The witnesses were all present and investigated regarding the project implementation process," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, March 5.

Tessa said the investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. Apart from Elpi, investigators are also working on Suminto Mina as Director of PT Mitra Super Structure.

"And (investigators, ed) are digging up unlawful acts in the implementation of the project," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK named five suspects in the alleged corruption in the construction of the Simpang Jalan Pembeli Tambusai flyover, Jalan Soekarno-Hatta (SP.SKA) within the Riau Provincial government for the 2018 fiscal year. This step is based on an investigation warrant (sprindik) issued on January 10, 2025.

"The suspects have already been mentioned by YN, GR, TC, ES, and NR," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, quoted on Wednesday, January 22.

YN is the Head of Development and Bridge of the Riau PUPR Service as the Budget User Authority (KPA); GR as the private sector took over the work of a detailed design review or Detail Engineering and Design (DED) from PT PI.

Kemudian NR adalah kepala PT YK Cabang Pekanbaru sebagai perusahaan yang mendapatkan pekerjaan konsultan manajemen konstruksi pembangunan flyover tersebut; ES selaku Direktur PT SC; TC selaku Direktur PT SHJ.

The KPK has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration to prevent five people from leaving the country. The prohibition of traveling abroad is valid for six months.
