Nubia Flip 2 Officially Launches Global, Ready To Compete With Galaxy Z Flip 6

JAKARTA - The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 event at Barcelona is still ongoing, and various innovative devices have been introduced. One of the highlights is the Nubia Flip 2, the newest foldable phone from ZTE, which is now officially launching globally.

Nubia Flip 2 was first introduced in mid-January 2025, but at that time it was not yet available in many markets. Now, with its global launch, this phone is ready to challenge the dominance of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the foldable phone market.

This phone comes with two rear cameras, as well as a vertical secondary screen next to it. The rear body has a 125-degree triple-arc design that provides comfort when held, and uses an aerospace class aluminum frame. For the front camera, Nubia Flip 2 has a punch-hole in the middle of the main screen.

AMOLED 6.9 Inci Screen With Adaptive Refresh Rate

Nubia Flip 2 is equipped with a 6.9-inch AMOLED main screen with a resolution of 2790 x 1188 pixels. The screen supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and has high-frequency dimming PWM technology for the convenience of the user's eyes.

Meanwhile, the secondary screen on the outside is 3 inches in size with a resolution of 682 x 422 pixels. This screen serves as a notification display and fast control without having to open the phone.

Powered By MediaTek Dimensity 7300X With Android 14

Nubia Flip 2 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, which is combined with 8GB RAM or 12GB LPDDR4X and 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. This phone has been running Android 14 since it was first turned on.

Hold Water & Dust, Equipped With 4,325mAh Battery

For durability, Nubia Flip 2 has IP42 certification, which means it has resistance to water and dust splashes. In addition, this phone has a 4,325mAh battery, with 33W fast charging support.

Other features include dual SIM (nano SIM + eSIM), dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra support, and fingerprint scanners on power buttons.

Camera 50MP & Elegant Color Choice

In the camera sector, Nubia Flip 2 carries a 50MP main camera with an aperture f/1.59, as well as a 2MP depth sensor camera with an aperture f/2. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera located on the main screen.

This phone has dimensions 170 x 76 x 7.2 mm when opened and 87 x 76 x 15.8 mm when folded, weighing only 191 grams.

Nubia Flip 2 is available in two color choices, Lilac Purple and Night Black, at prices ranging from 699 euros (around Rp. 12 million). Uniquely, this phone has not been launched in China, but in Japan first. After debuting in Europe, Nubia Flip 2 will also soon be present in the Chinese market.
