Cook Team Signs New Water MacBook Launch In The Near Future
JAKARTA - Apple CEO Tim Cook has again made a surprise by hinting at the launch of a new device via uploads on the X/Twitter platform. While he did not explicitly mention his name, all the clues lead to the latest MacBook Air which will soon be introduced.
In his upload, Cook wrote, "There's something in the Air", with a strong emphasis on the word Air, which seems to be the main clue. Along with the upload, a six-second promotional video was also uploaded, featuring the word Air cut by a device that moves very fast. If you look closely, the device looks like a closed-door MacBook Air, with a distinctive black line on the side.
If you look at Apple's launch pattern, there is a high probability that the device in question is indeed a MacBook Air. What's more, the MacBook Air was last updated on March 4, 2024 with an M3 chip. If Apple actually launched a new MacBook Air this week, then it would coincide with the previous model's first birthday.

Meanwhile, the iPad Air was last updated on May 8, 2024, with the presence of a 13-inch variant. This makes the possible launch of the iPad Air in the near future smaller than the MacBook Air.
Tim Cook's upload also reminded of the historic moment when Steve Jobs introduced the first generation MacBook Air in 2008. At that time, Jobs used the same phrase, "There's something in the Air," to introduce Apple's revolutionary ultra-thin laptop.

Based on rumors, the latest MacBook Air is predicted not to experience significant design changes. Apple is expected to maintain the same shape and dimension as the 2024 model.
However, major changes are likely to occur in specifications. The latest generation of MacBook Air is rumored to be equipped with an M4 chip, which offers increased performance over its predecessor. However, this model will not get the M4 Pro or M4 Max variant, as the variant will be devoted to the MacBook Pro.
Despite the many signs leading to the MacBook Air, Apple seems to have deliberately allowed the public to speculate about the possible launch of the new iPad Air. In other words, it is possible that these two devices were announced simultaneously at one event.
As usual, Apple still keeps specific details about the upcoming device a secret. However, with the teaser that Tim Cook has provided, Apple fans don't seem to have to wait too long to find out the latest device to be released by the Cupertino-based company.
