Jasa Marga Gives 20 Percent Trans Java Toll Rates Discount During Lebaran 2025 Homecoming

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) will provide a tariff discount or a discount of 20 percent from Jakarta to Semarang during the Lebaran 2025 homecoming period. The toll rate discount is valid for six days.

Jasa Marga President Director Subakti Syukur explained that the toll tariff discount or toll discount for the Lebaran homecoming period applies to all groups of vehicles.

"Giving a toll rate discount from Jakarta to Semarang and vice versa on the Trans Java section. The amount of the toll rate discount is 20 percent for all groups of vehicles," said Subakti at a press conference at the Ministry of SOEs Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 4.

Subakti said the toll rate discount time is four days on the Eid homecoming flow from March 24 to 27, 2025. Then, the toll rate discount is also valid for 2 days on the return flow of Eid, namely April 8 to 9, 2025.

"Giving a six-day tariff discount is four days before Eid and two days after Eid, he will be from 24 to 27 (March 2026). Then after Eid, April 8 to 9," said Subakti.

Currently, continued Subakti, we are still waiting for the finalization of the holiday time and the scenario set by the government. Basically, he said, Jasa Marga will follow the scenario set later.

"The scenario is what the Ministry of PMK and transportation look like, we don't limit the day, but the main thing is smoothness. While what we plot is the government for four days, we have six days," he said.

Previously, the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Development of the Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said the government imposed a toll rate discount of 20 percent to make it easier for the public to go home for Eid this year.

"The Ministry of Public Works (PU) has coordinated, for road users there is a 20 percent discount for toll rates at a number or on various toll roads in Indonesia," said AHY at a press conference at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Saturday, March 1 reported by ANTARA.

According to him, the 20 percent discount on toll rates is expected to reduce the cost of road travel for travelers.

"This is also an effort to reduce the cost of land travel for our community," he said.
